Marine Biologist, Experienced Angler, and Author
Hello! I’m Daniel Bradley, a marine biologist and a part-time writer. I love diving into the amazing world of fish and sharing what I know about different marine species and their homes.
My love for fish started early when I was growing up in Boca Raton, Florida, a beautiful coastal town. I spent my childhood fishing, crabbing, and exploring small pools of water left by the tide, which made me fall in love with everything underwater.
I decided to learn more about marine life, so I went to the University of South Florida to study marine biology. I got my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, focusing on learning about fish, which is called Ichthyology.
My research has taken me to many places, from colorful coral reefs to the deep, mysterious parts of the ocean.
In my writings, I enjoy sharing the beauty of fish and their homes, but I also talk about important issues like protecting our oceans and how human activities affect marine life.
Fishing remains a cherished hobby of mine, and it often sparks ideas for my writing. I love visiting places where I can see marine life up close like marine sanctuaries and aquariums. I also have my own saltwater aquarium at home with some beautiful angelfish, clownfish, gobies, and even seahorses.
Through my work, I hope to share my deep understanding and love for fish and inspire others who are curious about the underwater world.
